Project content
Sexual health is a widely stigmatized and neglected area that is often subject to legal and political restrictions worldwide. The specific health impacts are poorly studied. Two important aspects are the provision of safe abortion services and the sexual health of LGBTQIA* individuals in migrant populations. Our research aims to identify both barriers to and enablers of access, in order to improve healthcare provision for asylum seekers and refugees. In doing so, we work towards a more inclusive and patient-centered approach to sexual and reproductive healthcare.
